About Conceal

What is Conceal (CCX)?

Conceal is a cryptocurrency that combines payments, encrypted messages and deposits that lock coins for a chosen term. CCX is the native coin of its blockchain. The software comes from the CryptoNote family and uses proof-of-work mining. Its wallet's deposit feature is implemented in the blockchain's rules: a user creates a special transaction that locks CCX, and later spends the matured deposit with its protocol-defined interest.

How does Conceal protect payments?

Conceal uses ring signatures to obscure which output a payment spends and one-time destination keys to conceal the connection to the recipient's public address. Its CryptoNote transaction format includes visible output amounts. These protections therefore address spending links and recipient identification; they do not hide every detail recorded on the chain. The receiving wallet scans for outputs belonging to it, while a public address alone does not provide an ordinary address-balance lookup.

What are Conceal's time-locked deposits?

A time-locked deposit records an amount, destination key and lock term. The protocol determines when it can be spent and calculates interest from the applicable rules. Conceal calls this feature cold staking or banking, although proof of work still produces the network's blocks. Locked coins remain unavailable for ordinary spending until their term expires. Sending CCX to NonLogs credits a trading balance; it does not create one of these personal-wallet deposits.

How does CCX issuance work?

Conceal uses CryptoNight-GPU proof of work and targets a block every two minutes. Its published supply limit is 200 million CCX, and the current base mining subsidy is six CCX per block, subject to the protocol's reward rules. New issuance also includes interest on eligible deposits. The remaining emission available for mining therefore depends on coins created through both mechanisms. The stated limit includes future issuance.

Which wallet features does Conceal support?

The project offers desktop and command-line wallets, along with software for services that handle payments. The desktop wallet exposes the deposit and investment features as well as ordinary transfers. Compatible wallets can send encrypted messages through the blockchain. Wallets need either a local node or a connection to a remote node to obtain chain data. A wallet's keys identify its funds, and its backup is needed to restore access after losing a device.

How do I transfer or trade CCX on NonLogs?

Use native CCX on the Conceal network and copy the receiving address from your current deposit page or wallet. Check the spendable balance if your coins are in a time-locked deposit. Keep the transaction record and check the receiving service's confirmation requirements. The CCX pairs are listed below. Select Trade to open a pair's order book and trading page. Prices and volumes in the trading-pairs table below reflect completed NonLogs trades.
